It's Our Life!!

I know that most of you are just dying to hear what we are up to!! Acutally, not much. I am getting my masters in curriculum, instruction, and assessment-fancy title for designing curriculum and instruction! I have been doing this all online, so I'm about tired of typing on a computer and looking at a screen. My kids at school cannot believe how fast and accurate I can type. I just tell them that, with all things, it comes with practice! Anyway, I am pretty tired of learning...I'm too old for that! Many of the classes have been interesting, but I'm not crazy about my professor; still making straight A's....that is what comes with practice!

I start school on August 15th and kids come back starting August 27th. I can't say that I am excited to be back at school...talk about a turmoil! We don't have a superintendent, but an interm. When we could finally know what we were teaching and who we were partnering with, along with a schedule, it was not legal. The times were not in approval with what TEA allows us, so they are back to the butchering block-and we still don't know anything~but what's new!!!

Jason is BUSY at work. He is working long days and then at shows some during the summer. He just got back from Laredo...kinda scary! There is always something going on at work and this summer has been no different. Sadly, the founder of the company, Gary Pogue, has undergone a heart surgery, placement of a stint in his corated artery (the one in his neck), and this week had a pacemaker put in. God has had a hand on Mr. Pogue's healing, and we are happy to say that he is doing better and getting stronger everyday!

Bryce is Mr. Independent-but-I-still-need-my-mommy! I have watched our little boy grow from just a bean in my tummy to a big boy who can ask for what he wants. Bryce's vocabulary is skyrocketing-good words and bad word. He repeats everything that we say and is determined to be in the middle of a conversation, sharing his input. As the summer is getting started, he has been to the beach and played in the sand. Actually he made new friends while we were sitting and watching him. I guess we weren't as much fun a the little people are!
